Revenue Cycle Manager

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing revenue cycle processes, creating revenue cycle management strategies, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Excellent leadership skills, communication abilities, and analytical thinking are required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a revenue cycle strategy that optimizes collections and accounts receivable.
• Analyze financial data, develop reports, and make data-driven decisions on revenue cycle performance.
• Develop initiatives for improvement and analyze the results of these initiatives.
• Establish protocols and workflows to minimize the risk of non-payment and denial of claims.
• Work closely with billing and coding teams to ensure that claims are coded accurately, and submitted timely.
• Monitor regulatory and policy changes, proactively recommending process adjustments in response.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships and effective communication with insurance providers, patients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Review and analyze denied claims, identify trends, and create processes to minimize denials.
• Create and implement policies to ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management.
• Strong experience in healthcare billing, coding, and collections practices.
• Excellent knowledge of medical coding (CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10).
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of improving revenue cycle performance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
