Job Details

The Technical Architect reports to their Team Leader (Senior Project Manager) or Principals. Key responsibility is the technical documentation of the project. They are responsible for maintaining design standards and reinforcing the company culture and brand. Advancement is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to experience and proficiency of key responsibilities, professional maturity, as well as the quality and consistency of work, and the ability to understand and interpret the key components of project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to the project team by motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities, achieve milestones, and look for growth opportunities
  • Maintain firm-wide documentation, BIM procedures, standards, as well as reinforce the commitment to advancing our use of innovative technology including evolving 3D and visualization tools
  • Meet project goals adherent to their responsibilities, achieve milestones, and look for growth opportunities
  • Maintain multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish
  • Analyze project reports and provide consistent status reporting to your direct supervisor regarding projects and personnel
  • Participate in meetings with the design team, client, or consultants at appropriate intervals
  • Lead and/or collaborate with Senior Project Manager to space plan and design the interior architectural envelope
  • Contribute in Revit to the development of detailed construction documents and coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure design intent, quality, and compliance with applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and company design standards
  • Participate in construction administration phase with required meetings, site observations, and review and process RFIs/submittals
  • Maintain excellent professional relationships with clients and consultants
  • Participate in furthering the Design Department’s knowledge base through training, sharing of resources, and educational opportunities
  • Support Leadership Team in company policy and procedural decisions related to the goals of the company

Qualifications:
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or minimum degree requirements for licensure.
  • Experience: 5+ years applicable experience is preferred
  • Strong proficiency (current versions): Revit (proficiency required), AutoCAD (proficiency required), Microsoft Office Suite (proficiency), Adobe Creative Suite (proficiency preferred), Plan Grid and Bluebeam (proficiency required)
  • Possess strong communication skills
