**THIS ROLE IS AN INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR WITH GROWTH INTO MANAGING A TEAM**
We’re partnering with a growing industrial manufacturer that’s seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager to support their legal, product, and operations teams. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment where every detail matters—and where product liability and compliance intersect.
This person will own product liability claim handling from intake through resolution and serve as the point person for coordinating with outside counsel and insurance partners. You'll track trends, maintain clear documentation for reporting purposes, and collaborate with internal teams to develop practical risk mitigation strategies.
On the compliance side, you’ll help manage contract obligations, maintain internal systems, and ensure key deliverables don’t fall through the cracks. While the title is “Manager,” there are no direct reports—this is a doer role, ideal for someone who likes keeping balls in the air and working across teams to drive impact.
This position offers the chance to grow within the organization. While initially focused on the core business, there's potential to integrate with other entities within the broader enterprise. Compensation will depend on experience, generally falling in the $100K–$115K range, with flexibility for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee product liability claims: investigation, coordination, resolution.
- Work with legal, quality, and engineering to determine cause and resolution.
- Liaise with outside counsel and insurers on claims and settlements.
- Track and report claim activity; recommend risk reduction strategies.
- Manage contract obligations in internal systems (e.g., Mpact).
- Monitor key legal and trademark deadlines across departments.
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of claims management experience; property claim exposure required.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with contracts, trademarks, and legal compliance.
- Able to communicate effectively across teams and with outside counsel
