We are a leading player in the manufacturing industry, seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent RME-I Fire Alarm Sprinkler Inspector. This role requires a professional who is experienced with the RME-I, Responsible Managing Employee, and General Inspector skillsets or equivalent. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm and sprinkler systems across our manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on fire alarm and sprinkler systems to ensure they are in working order and comply with safety standards and regulations.
2. Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine inspection and testing procedures.
3. Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, including recommendations for necessary repairs or upgrades.
4. Respond to emergency situations and breakdowns, performing troubleshooting and repair work as necessary.
5. Coordinate with other maintenance and safety personnel to ensure all systems are integrated and functioning properly.
6. Stay updated on the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
7. Train other team members on fire alarm and sprinkler system operations, safety protocols, and inspection procedures.
8. Work collaboratively with the Responsible Managing Employee (RME) to ensure all safety measures are being adhered to.
9. Participate in safety audits and implement recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Sprinkler Inspector or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Certification as a Responsible Managing Employee (RME-I) or equivalent.
3. Proven experience in inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
4. Strong knowledge of fire safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions.
6. Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
7. Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to explain complex systems and procedures in clear, understandable terms.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and handle emergency situations effectively.
9. High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
10. Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment.
11. Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding work, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
