Job Details
MUST HAVE -
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred
+ 1-5 years of engineering related experience is preferred
+ EI Certification is preferred
+ Proficient with MicroStation/Geopak
+ Strong roadway geometric design knowledge is preferred.
+ Knowledge of FDOT FDM, Standard Plans, Specifications & Florida Greenbook criteria is preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES -
+ Design and produce plans for transportation-related projects from preliminary to final design
+ Prepare project specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages
+ Ensure designs align with FDOT design standards and plans preparation procedures
+ Apply a strong understanding of roadway geometrics and roadside safety in project development
+ Utilize MicroStation/Geopak and ORD for high-quality plans production
+ Collaborate with a team of engineers on projects throughout Florida
+ Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
+ Take initiative as a proactive, self-starting contributor in a team environment
