Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and implement emergency response procedures.
- Train employees on safety policies and practices.
- Investigate accidents, identify their causes, and find ways to prevent them in the future.
- Develop safety policies and programs and ensure their implementation across all departments.
- Lead the Emergency Response Team and ensure all members are adequately trained and prepared for emergency situations.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategic safety plans for the organization.
- Keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in safety management in the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance.
- Excellent knowledge of industrial safety and emergency response.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing safety policies.
- Strong skills in hazard recognition and risk assessment.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to train and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
