Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Safety Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about safety, enjoys working with a team, and who has a strong desire to make a significant impact on the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of safety management, including industrial safety, emergency response, OSHA compliance, policy development, and hazard recognition. The position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA and other applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Develop and implement emergency response procedures.
• Train employees on safety policies and practices.
• Investigate accidents, identify their causes, and find ways to prevent them in the future.
• Develop safety policies and programs and ensure their implementation across all departments.
• Lead the Emergency Response Team and ensure all members are adequately trained and prepared for emergency situations.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategic safety plans for the organization.
• Keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in safety management in the manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of industrial safety and emergency response.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing safety policies.
• Strong skills in hazard recognition and risk assessment.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to train and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
