Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Strategy - Engage the leadership team and other internal stakeholders to define field enablement needs to support business goals and objectives
  • Build, manage and own specific programs in support of the national growth marketing enablement strategy
  • Has a deep understanding of the buyers journey and can implement resources and plans at every step of the sales funnel including but not limited to: sales messaging, product videos, case studies, prospect campaign support, talk tracks, one-sheeters, finalist presentations, RFP responses, etc.
  • Manages a team to effectively execute on growth enablement strategies across the business
  • Works closely with sales and retention operations on deployment of go-to-market initiatives into the field
  • Partners with sales ops and training on effective producer onboarding programs
  • Act as main liaison to Field team in successful implementation of Marketing initiatives, including but not limited to lead generation campaigns, solution cross sell strategies, customer experience campaigns and more
  • Collaborates with training and communication departments to ensure a cohesive training, communications and enablement strategy
Partners with Product Marketing on product roll out and sales plan
  • Works with Field Marketing team to develop strategies/campaigns that promote retention and growth initiatives
  • Coordinates team to develop, produce, update and organize collateral, educational and communications materials, and other items as needed to promote core value proposition as well as key solutions across the organization
  • Act as a key contributor to the build and rollout of company's enablement technology vision, which includes developing a content strategy, deploying multi-channel communications, and supporting technology implementation and integrations
  • Measure, monitor and provide actionable insights on growth enablement strategy effectiveness
  • Work with marketing team to design metrics and processes for reporting on marketing activities, programs, and campaigns to measure success/return on investment (ROI)
  • Serve as key liaison for long-term and day-to-day Field marketing activities ensuring that information is shared across the organization
  • Represent the marketing team in a varied array of opportunities, including but not limited to meeting with acquisition prospects; participating in annual internal conferences and new hire training, presenting materials in company webinars or podcasts, etc.
  • Coordinate with and manage outside vendor relationships as needed
  • Support the Voice of the Customer initiative across the division.
  • Assist with a variety of day-to-day marketing activities as needs arise
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, some travel will be required

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing or sales, preferably within the benefits/hr technology or insurance space.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships and high-level management of internal and external stakeholders
  • Display a strong marketing sense, with proven ability to deliver high-quality, engaging and impactful marketing strategies and assets that drive business outcomes
  • Has a deep knowledge of the buyer’s journey and sales cycle
  • Has worked with B2B sales and service teams or similar experience
  • Understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem in driving performance and adoption of enablement and communication platforms
  • Knowledge of Challenger Sales Methodology
  • Experience working cross-functionally, especially across marketing, sales, client services and IT
  • Specific understanding of how to plan, create and execute nurture campaigns through email marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Marketo, Constant Contact or something similar)
  • Broad understanding of SEO and digital media, social channels and content, and familiarity with graphics, illustration, video, blog and website production, vendors and tools
  • Demonstrated record of successfully executing high-quality projects with independence and confidence
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize multiple deadlines, and coordinate support across multiple departments
  • Exceptional communication, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Highly organized work style with a rigorous attention to detail and strong analytical ability
  • Strategic, metrics-driven mindset and a demonstrated commitment to driving results
