Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and passionate Permanent SDS/PACU RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an SDS/PACU RN, you will be responsible for providing top-quality care and recovery assistance to patients who have undergone surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, plastic, ophthalmic, and oral surgeries. You will work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and will need to be able to make quick decisions in high-stress situations. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre and post-operative care to patients, monitoring vital signs, and administering prescribed medications.
• Evaluate patients' post-operative status at regular intervals and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth transition of care from the operating room to the recovery room.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operation care, potential complications, and methods to promote health and wellness post-surgery.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patients' health histories and the care provided.
• Adhere to all necessary nursing and medical procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Participate in professional development activities and maintain current knowledge of advancements in the field.

Qualifications:

• A valid RN license is required.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as an RN is required.
• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
• A compassionate and approachable personality, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina.
• The ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions quickly.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• ACLS, PALS, & BLS certifications are required
