We are seeking a licensed and experienced service technician in the electronic security field in the Fairfield & Westchester County Connecticut/NY Area. This position is responsible for system installations and repairs while delivering a positive customer service experience. The goal is to drive success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.
Job Details
The following daily job responsibilities include but, are not limited to:
· Provide installations and service including customer support during field visits or dispatches
· Tie workflow to schedule
· Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, inspection, cleaning and testing tasks
· Produce timely and detailed service tickets, reports, logs and other documentation as needed
· Operate company vehicle in a safe manner
· Maintains customer confidence by keeping service/install information confidential
· Follow all company’s field procedures and protocols
· Cooperate with the Supervisors and share information across the organization
· Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
· Build positive relationships with customers
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
· Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing other tasks as needed
Service Technician Skills and Qualifications:
· Properly licensed in CT (L-6, L-5) and/or are registered in NY; in apprenticeship program if necessary
· Proven experience troubleshooting and/or installing burglar alarms, intrusion detection, access control and video surveillance systems
· Proven experience programming intrusion detection, access control and video surveillance systems
· Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules (rotating on call weekly shifts)
· Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
