Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

Our Senior Accountants of Financial Reporting are integral members of our accounting and finance team. This group of analysts goes beyond the traditional accounting role, proving their ability to create significant value for the organization. They are experts in assessing the financial health and performance of nearly 100 operating entities in the Americas, covering trading, renewable asset, and service companies. The analysts actively support investment and deal teams in integrating new businesses. Additionally, they play a vital role in preparing businesses for the market and supporting sales processes by collaborating with transaction partners, external service providers, and auditors. Senior Management regularly seeks their expertise and detailed insights, relying on them to provide critical information for regional and global decision-making. Responsibilities:

• Assisting investment and deal teams in integrating new businesses or facilitating sales processes.
• Actively participating in discussions with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and enhance financial controls.
• Conducting month-end close procedures for various legal entities.
• Collaborating regularly with accounting teams across North and South America offices, including Mexico City, Bogota, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires.
• Conducting monthly/quarterly analyses for review by the CEO and Senior Management to inform decision-making.
• Providing support during the annual external audit process.
• Performing additional responsibilities as assigned. Please note that this job description is subject to change at any time.

This position will require in office attendance Monday to Friday

Qualifications:
2-6 years of financial reporting / audit experience strongly preferred
CPA license is strongly preferred
Big 4 Public Accounting experience strongly preferred
