We are on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, hybrid role that offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site. You will play a pivotal role in our organization, ensuring the accuracy of our financial operations and contributing to our strategic growth. Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Conducting audits, ensuring compliance with standard rules and regulations.
3. Managing the general ledger and reconciling account balances.
4. Performing financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and anomalies.
5. Assisting in the forecasting and budgeting process.
6. Participating in Mergers and Acquisition activities, providing financial insights and analysis.
7. Managing intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
8. Assisting with year-end close processes and reporting.
9. Working closely with the finance team to streamline processes and improve financial reporting.
10. Participating in special projects as required, providing financial expertise.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with a strong emphasis on audit, financial reporting, and analysis.
3. Proficient in general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
4. Solid understanding of financial accounting, forecasting, and financial statement analysis.
5. Experience in Private Equity (PE) and Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) is highly desirable.
6. Ability to reconcile accounts and manage intercompany transactions.
7. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
10. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
