We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the Medical industry. This is a remote position, providing the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our healthcare organization, ensuring that all financial statements are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements. - Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly basis
- Conduct month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and potential risks
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience in a Senior Accountant role
- Experience in the healthcare or hospital industry
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
