Job Details

  • Assist in the development and implementation of reporting in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Be a key member of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI implementation and rollout team
  • Work with CFO and other key executives to create and maintain accounting and finance reports within the new system
  • Assist in the overhaul of monthly executive reporting
  • Reach out to leaders across the company to better understand current and future reporting and data needs and then ensure the BI and ERP systems are configured to meet these needs
  • Be key accounting/finance resource to IT department as they struct BI system and data warehouse
  • Create and deploy standardized reporting across divisions
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad hoc reports, tools and automated dashboards
  • Lead the drive towards best practices in financial reporting across the company and its divisions
  • Train and guide other users in reporting creation and generation across Microsoft platforms
  • Work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Help leadership make informed data-base decisions
  • Work closely with the leaders of Data Governance and Business Intelligence to ensure accurate data and reporting

  • Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience in Related Field, Skills, etc.):
  • BS in Accounting
  • 4-6 years of related experience
  • Strong technical skills including experience with Microsoft Power BI a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with reporting and database software
  • Experience working in an ERP system
  • Analytical with Attention-to-Detail
  • Self-Starter with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across divisions and departments
  • Proven history of being involved in leadership roles and leading change in an organization
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Familiarity with Data Query/Data Management tools a plus
  • Technical skills in information technology a plus
