Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
Report analysis and findings to management team
Oversee junior accountants and provide them with guidance as necessary
Maintain accurate ledger accounts and develop financial statements including cash flows
Perform month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Contribute to forecasting and budgeting process
Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls
Assist with tax preparation and filings
Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections for decision making
Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
Stay current with latest industry trends, tax changes, and best accounting practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
Masters and/or CPA is advantageous
5+ years experience in Accounting
Experience with month end close, financial reporting, budgeting highly preferred
