The individual in this role will work directly with the Controller and Senior Director of Finance on strategic initiatives in addition to the requisite close of books. Partnership with leadership, including the Co-Founders, to develop and build scalable accounting systems will be an ongoing focus of this role. We expect this position to be able to think strategically and drive forward operational improvements in conjunction with the operating team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Prepare general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliation in compliance with policies and procedures
  • Support implementation and successful use of Sage Intacct ERP
  • Research, present and support implementation of automation tools spanning employee reimbursement, expense tracking, vendor payments, and more
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
  • Work closely with team members to complete month-end close within 10 days
  • Monitor daily revenue and cash procedures across clinic locations
  • Support Operational and Strategy teams in production of KPIs including thoughtful analysis and monitoring
  • Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of financial statements and related notes
  • Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
  • Prepare financial analyses and reports
  • Perform in-depth data research and analysis of expense variances for company management
  • Provide guidance to cross functional stakeholders
  • Perform ad hoc financial responsibilities and projects as requested by leadership
  • Prepare revenue projections and forecast expenditure
  • Assist with preparation and monitoring of budgets
  • Perform other accounting duties and supporting staff as required or assigned

  • Professional experience must include at least one internship season with Big 4 or Regional accounting firm(s)
  • Strong academic performance resulting in Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical accounting and financial analytical skills
  • Desire to provide reasoned opinion and streamline disparate processes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Familiarity with Managed Service Organization/Physician Association (MSO/PC) a big plus
  • Experience with robotic process automation and implementation a plus
  • QuickBooks Desktop experience a plus
  • Experience in ERP systems a plus
  • Experience working with Tableau a plus
