Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations, including revenue tracking, employee payroll, month end accounting, while staying in compliance with GAAP and ASC 606. You will work closely with the VP finance, HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely month end reporting of financial information.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and ASC 606 accounting standards.
• Perform monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition.
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting systems and processes.
• Participate in the annual audit and tax return preparation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Multiple years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the technology industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 accounting standards.
• Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks, Sage Intacct, and Netsuite.
• Familiarity with revenue tracking software such as Maxio, RevPro, and SaaS Optics.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
