Senior Accountant

We are a leading manufacturing company and are known for our custom designed technical solutions. Due to growth, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to own the day-to-day finance and accounting operations.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and must possess excellent skills in Accounting, GAAP, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain the company's financial records, including preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP.
• Oversee the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
• Prepare and file tax returns, including sales tax, income tax, and other regulatory filings.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including analyzing financial data and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, including providing training and guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of ACS 740, Accounting, GAAP, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• CPA certification is a plus.
