Senior Accountant

Our client is a well-established and reputable Semiconductor Manufacturer based in the greater Salt Lake City area.

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY: Responsible for being the lead accountant to help manage the accurate, timely processing, review of multiple accounting functions such as accounts payable, payroll, check requests, and expense reports for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Provide assistance in month-end processing and reporting.

Accounts Payable

• Provide leading support to transactional services accounting team with accounts payable functionalities for multiple entities and vendors in the

United States.

• Help establishing and maintaining good relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Oversee the processing and reconciling of invoices for payments and organize supporting documentation
• Assist subsidiaries with ensuring purchase orders, receipts of goods, prices, terms of payment and other charges are following accounting

procedures.

• Provide accounting team with ensuring invoice transactions are sorted, coded, and reconciled to the proper General Ledger account or purchase

orders.

• Support audits by retrieving supporting documents for AP and payroll transactions
• Oversee the annual preparation and review of 1099’s for submission to vendors

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to accurately manage multiple tasks at one time
• Must be flexible and adaptable based on analysis of current activities
• Must be able to be lead in accounts payable and payroll with other junior accountants
• Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, with emphasis in Excel
• Adobe Acrobat experience
• Experience with AP systems like NetSuite Paylocity
• Accounts payable and/or Payroll is highly desired
