We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, as well as providing valuable insights to drive business growth. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain accurate cost accounting systems, ensuring proper allocation of costs and effective inventory management.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial reports and statements.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during the audit process.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing valuable insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances, and providing recommendations to drive cost savings and improve profitability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance and implementing necessary changes to accounting processes and procedures.
  • Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
  • CPA certification highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, charting, and templates.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
