We are seeking a Permanent Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and supporting our financial team. This role is crucial to maintaining our company's financial health and processes, ensuring we meet regulatory and compliance requirements. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable, cash disbursements, and journal entries.
  • Conduct regular ledger procedures, reconciliation and fixed asset activity.
  • Manage asset inventory and keep track of capital improvement projects (CIP).
  • Analyze financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, complete statutory accounts and audit processes.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Use Concur and SAP software for various accounting processes.
  • Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends.
  • Continually review all assigned processes in order to identify improvements.
  • Provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with relevant accounting software (e.g., SAP, Concur).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, reconciliation, CIP, asset inventory, fixed assets, general ledger, audit, GL account, analysis, cash disbursements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty, and ethics.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is a plus.
