Job Details:
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to contribute to a rapidly growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of accounting duties, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in public accounting, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for financial management. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all general ledger transactions and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
2. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process to ensure smooth and timely completion.
4. Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting any significant issues or trends.
5. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
6. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
7. Assist in tax preparations and filings.
8. Participate in financial standard setting and in forecast process.
9. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
10. Liaise with our Financial manager and Accounting manager to improve financial procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting.
4. Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proven experience with accounting software, QuickBooks experience is a plus.
6. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles.
7. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
8. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and meet deadlines.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
