Job Details
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, cash flow, expense tracking, tax filings, and internal controls
Enhance month-end close processes: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed asset management, allocations, and balance sheet reconciliations across - multiple divisions
Analyze complex transactions, apply GAAP standards, and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders
Support cost accounting efforts and inventory counts
Manage timely compliance with multi-state tax filings (sales/use, property, income)
Assist with financial and regulatory audits
Conduct technical accounting research and help maintain accounting policies and systems
Ensure adherence to internal policies and GAAP
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Identify and improve inefficient processes, driving automation and consistency
Take on special accounting and finance projects as needed
Qualifications:
4+ years of accounting experience
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Public accounting preferably with Big 4
Problem-solver with a proactive mindset
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Excellent communication skills across departments
Detail-oriented with a focus on broader business impact
Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
Experience with ERP systems
