The ideal candidate will have a general accounting background, preferably in the healthcare space. Master's in accounting degree required and CPA is preferred.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Manage and track sales and use tax, property taxes, and real estate taxes
Work in conjunction to manage and file income taxes
Manage the tracking and proper coding of non-AR related deposits
Review and maintain Fixed asset ledger and subledger
Calculate and run fixed asset depreciation
Review and maintain Operating lease schedules under ASC 842
Track and follow-up on any discrepancies and reconciling items until resolved
Record journal entries and accounting classification assigned to various records
Monthly account reconciliations
Drive accounting process improvements

Qualifications:


4-6 years public/corporate accounting work history preferably including experience in healthcare.
Accounting courses from an accredited college/university is required, a master’s in accounting
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of Sage Intact accounting system a plus
Advanced excel skill required, vlookups, pivots, index match, macros etc
Demonstrated ability to work with limited direction
Attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving skills
Knowledge and application of GAAP standards
Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills along with the ability to thrive in an unstructured, entrepreneurial type of environment.
