Job Details

Looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Acquisitions team based in our Newport Beach, CA office. The Senior Analyst will contribute to the execution and the implementation of the Company’s strategies and programs that drive the financial and operational performance of the Investment group by gathering and analyzing the market, property, and portfolio data, identifying opportunities for improving financial and/or operational performance, managing programs that promote revenue or client satisfaction enhancement, and performing other analytical, program management, or tasks that support the daily operation of the business.

  • Conducts financial analysis of investment opportunities, including the creation of detailed pro-forma and financial models. Gathers, compiles, investigates, and analyzes market data to identify potential investment opportunities, and prepares narrative investment memoranda, detailed reports, and market summaries that provide insights on proposed acquisitions.
  • Prepare and present new investment memos, financing or disposition recommendations and updates on existing investment or portfolio status.
  • Establishes and maintains productive relationships with local market brokers, institutional and equity partners, lenders, real estate owners, and other key stakeholders, and appropriately manages ongoing communications related to proposed investment transactions.
  • Identifies, investigates and refers potential acquisitions, and other real estate transactions to appropriate company leadership, and assists in preparing financial, market, and other documents required for new business pitches and RFPs.
  • Organizes, leads, and/or participates in the due diligence on acquisitions under contract, and develops documentation and recommendations on key findings that may affect the return and financial performance of the proposed deal.
  • Monitors and reports on the status and progress of proposed acquisition transactions within the assigned geographic region, establish critical timelines and deadlines for tasks and activities related to the proposed transaction, and identifies and effectively addresses issues or problems that could otherwise adversely affect closing.
  • Works with internal teams and external parties to implement process improvements and programs targeted to increase revenue, reduce costs, promote efficiencies, and improve the overall performance of the assigned portfolio.
  • Provides support and assistance to key business leaders and others by fielding questions and requests and gathering data and reports.
  • Performs various Investment Management functions on an ongoing basis, including the monitoring, reporting, and proactive problem-solving of the Company’s existing portfolio of assets within the assigned geographic region.

Qualification:
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Business
  • Interest in Real Estate
  • Proficient excel skills
