Senior Application Developer

As a Senior Application Developer, you will work on various consulting projects involving the design and development of web, cross-platform mobile, and cloud applications, integrating multiple enterprise systems to help clients implement their digital transformation strategies. Most projects commonly target Microsoft platforms like Xamarin/MAUI, C#, .Net, Azure, and others. As a Senior Application Developer, you may have multiple roles on a project, including creating technical specifications, prototypes, programming/application development, and testing solutions.

Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work on system development tasks that include planning, design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, gathering requirements, and analyzing processes.
• Develop system specifications, technical designs, and software code.
• Design and develop test plans and perform unit, integration, and user acceptance tests.
• Create and maintain program and technical documentation.
• Support production systems by interacting with clients.
• Manage and document system configurations.
• Work closely with end-users, business analysts, and other stakeholders to coordinate plans and activities that affect the assigned projects.
• Collaborate with clients to determine the best-fit solutions.
• Apply critical thinking to analyze and diagnose customer issues, facilitate and engage in discussions with clients and team members to identify potential solutions, and promptly implement the most appropriate quality solutions.
• Provide timely and complete written and verbal responses to customer requests.
• Consistently provide accurate and comprehensive status reports to clients and other stakeholders.
• Travel to client locations as required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience using C# and Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio)
• 5+ years of development experience using Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Storage, Azure SQL, etc.)
• 5+ years of mobile development on Android or iOS (Microsoft Xamarin preferred)
• Experience in delivering solutions using enterprise design patterns like MVC, CQRS, SOLID principles, and Micro Services architecture
• Strong database fundamentals and 5+ years of experience using SQL
• Working knowledge of UI frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)
• Develop intuitive user interface designs
• Adept at proactively solving problems and resolving conflicts
• Learn and apply new concepts and technologies in an agile manner
• Build long-term business relationships with all levels of professionals through interaction
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and develop solutions to problems independently and through facilitated team discussions
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, and time management skills
• Display a strong affinity for technology
• Exhibit motivation and initiative
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge/Experience with Azure
• Knowledge/Experience with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
• Knowledge/Experience in Object Oriented Programming and Fundamentals
• Knowledge/Experience in using and developing web services

Education
Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred); knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree.

**This position is contract-to-hire! Although remote - Texas is highly preferred.
