Job Details
- Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents.
- Provide comprehensive advice on estate planning strategies, tax implications, and asset preservation.
- Assist clients through the probate process, including petition filings, court representation, and estate administration.
- Oversee estate and trust administration to ensure legal compliance and timely resolution.
- Communicate with clients clearly, explaining legal options and processes to assist them in making informed decisions.
- Offer strategic legal guidance on business formation, special needs planning, and asset protection.
- Collaborate with clients to design and implement customized estate planning solutions.
Needed:
- Licensed to practice law in Florida
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Trusts & Estates, including estate planning, probate, and trust administration
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; an LLM in estate planning or tax law is preferred, but not required
- Portable Business Required
- Experience with federal estate tax returns (Form 706) and federal gift tax returns (Form 709) is a plus
- Proven track record in managing client relationships and leading consultations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client service
