Senior CI Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior CI Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence through the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, value stream mapping, and Six Sigma methodologies. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
• Conduct value stream mapping to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them
• Train and mentor team members on lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute improvement projects and ensure project goals are achieved
• Utilize statistical analysis tools to identify root causes of process issues and develop solutions to address them
• Develop and implement standard work processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality in manufacturing operations
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to design and implement new processes and equipment
• Monitor key performance indicators and develop reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, value stream mapping, and Six Sigma methodologies
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and achieve results
• Experience with process design and improvement, equipment selection and installation, and project management
