Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent for a high-profile construction project valued at 20/60 million dollars. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who is ready to oversee and lead all aspects of the construction process, from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale projects, specifically in the K-12 and hospital construction sectors.

Responsibilities:

As the Permanent Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing all on-site construction activities for large-scale projects, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
2. Developing and implementing project schedules and budgets, and ensuring that all project objectives are met.
3. Working closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that all project requirements are met.
4. Supervising and leading a team of construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is performed safely and to the highest quality standards.
5. Coordinating with local authorities and utilities to ensure compliance with all regulations and codes.
6. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
7. Managing and mitigating any on-site issues or delays to prevent impact on project timeline or budget.
8. Ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly adhered to, and fostering a culture of safety on the construction site.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale projects valued at 20 million dollars or more.
2. Extensive experience in K-12 and hospital construction projects.
3. A strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction safety laws and regulations.
5. Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to foresee potential issues and implement effective solutions.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
