Jobot is partnering with a local leader in their industry to staff a position as a Senior Cost Accountant. The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Participates in and guides D365 implementation by collaborating with external consultants to design simplified, standardized full cycle inventory and cost processes.
• Participates in cross-functional meetings to address process implications across the company.
• Participates in and drives decisions for intercompany inventory transactions workflow.
• Drives best practices in financial processes for inventory.
• Participates in system testing cycles to identify gaps and corrective actions for the implementation team.
• Completes month-end close tasks ensuring strict adherence to the closing schedule.
• Performs variance analysis by working closely with Operations personnel including analysis of labor and overhead variances (both spending and volume related).
• Improves labor standard setting and review.
• Identifies and applies incurred variances to material for period-end close.
• Performs and manages Bill of Material audits to satisfy corporate policies.
• Reviews and analyzes WIP balances.
• Enters all required Ops Finance information for new product setup.
• Approves final costs for all new items established in D365.
• Actively participates in the completion of the annual operating budget.
• Develops management reports to support decision making.
• All other duties assigned.

If you have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of cost accounting experience, strong technical skills, enjoy working in a dynamic, fast paced and growing industry, are collaborative and a great team player as well as possess excellent communication skills than this could be a great opportunity for you.
