You will:

• You will serve as a true subject matter expert in the area of threat detection.
• You'll be key to identifying and responding to cyber security events, while researching the latest threats that will provide solutions for enterprise level customers, in detecting threats on the atomized network.
• Using large datasets to develop statistical and machine learning algorithm based models to separate normal and attack behavior
• Prototype, develop, test, and deployment of Threat Detection Models that implement these algorithms to alert customers to threats on their networks

Must have:

• Hands-on curation of statistical and machine-learning models
• Jira, Confluence, and git skills are required
• If you don’t know an answer, you shouldn’t be afraid to go find or invent one. This is a creation position, we want you to chase ideas.
• Experience with firewalls, ACLs, types of network topologies, and other network security equipment is desired
• A working knowledge of security threat vectors such as malware, DDoS, and other network security and application security desired, but not required.
• Python, Perl, Scala, or Go languages preferred
