We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work 100% remotely in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, proforma, M&A, P&L analysis, and multi-year forecasting. Experience in the health insurance industry is highly preferred. This role requires 10+ years of experience and proficiency in technical skills including intermediate/advanced Excel, Oracle Smartview, and ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Director of FP&A, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including:
1. Developing and executing the company's financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
2. Creating and maintaining financial models to support decision-making, including proforma, M&A, and multi-year forecasting.
3. Conducting P&L analysis to understand the drivers of business performance and identify areas for improvement.
4. Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
5. Collaborating with senior management to develop financial strategies and prepare financial presentations for the board of directors.
6. Managing the implementation and integration of Oracle Smartview and ERP systems.
7. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, proforma, M&A, and P&L analysis.
2. Health insurance industry experience is highly preferred.
3. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in intermediate/advanced Excel including pivot tables, sumif, vlookup, etc. commands, and formatting for executive reporting.
4. Experience with Oracle Smartview and ERP systems.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification (such as CFA or CPA) is preferred.
