Job Details
Job Duties and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience combined construction field & estimating office knowledge
- Experience in Wood Framing and concrete a plus
- Manage 4 other estimating personnel; assign projects and tasks, ensure that things are in order so bid deadlines are met
- Read scope for job bidding, and find sub coverage for bid day
- Research products, help gather prices for products
- Coordinate with subcontractors' timely submission of quotes
- Organize Plans & Specs files
- Client interactions and heavy use of phones to carry out estimating duties
- Assist with bidding process by entering prices & contractors into excel
