Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction industry, life science projects, and commercial construction. This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the estimating team to ensure timely and accurate estimates for all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the estimating team to ensure timely and accurate estimates for all projects
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related issues
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
• Prepare and submit change orders and claims as necessary
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
• Provide mentoring and training to junior estimators

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Estimator in the construction industry
• Experience with life science and commercial construction projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards
