Job Details

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Includes the following non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Credit Union policies and procedures.
Funds and/or reports the following:
ATM’s and Visa settlement drawdown via FedLine
401k Wire
Approves cash disbursements by verifying check amounts against invoices, (Accounts Payable)
Prepares and completes required regulatory reports:
Quarterly NCUA 5300 Call Report
Annual IRS and State tax reporting
Annual escheat analysis and reporting
Regulation “D”, TGA, NCUA and other required reports
Performs complex analysis of financial data and provides insights
Responsible for monthly board report preparation
Responsible for budgeting and forecasting
Support ad-hoc analysis of financial data as needed by CFO
Assists in completion of annual audit and regulatory examinations
Performs duties associated with the General Ledger
Reviews daily general ledger reconciliations.
Monitors the General Ledger Trial Balance and reviews questionable activities and outstanding items.
Assures the timely posting of the daily core system file into the accounting system
Reviews the balancing and reporting of general accounts, including loss on checks, adjustments, and missing suspense items
Responsible for month end close and variance analysis
Prepare month-end package for CFO review

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or MBA; five to seven years finance or accounting related financial institution or credit union experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
