We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in the Advertising industry. This is a permanent role that will see you leverage your knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and advanced Excel to drive our business forward. You will play a pivotal role in our financial planning and analysis (FP&A), providing critical insights that will inform our strategic direction. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of income statements, cash flow, and monthly reporting, as well as an ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis as required. If you have a knack for identifying variances and a background in advertising, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing comprehensive financial models to support decision making.
2. Conducting detailed financial forecasting, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
3. Utilizing advanced Excel skills to manipulate and interpret complex data sets.
4. Providing financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support strategic planning.
5. Analyzing income statements and cash flow to identify trends and variances.
6. Conducting ad hoc financial analysis to support specific business needs or requests.
7. Delivering insightful monthly reporting to key stakeholders.
8. Collaborating with the advertising team to optimize budget allocation and spend.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the marketing industry.
2. Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and advanced Excel.
3. Proven experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
4. Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis and identify variances.
5. Solid understanding of income statements, cash flow, and monthly reporting.
6. Experience in the advertising industry, with a keen understanding of budgeting and spend optimization.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
8. A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
9. Advanced analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
