Our company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, Property Accounting, Fund Accounting, Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage all aspects of property accounting, including lease agreements, rent roll, and property tax filings
• Oversee fund accounting for various projects and ensure compliance with regulations
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and identify and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of journal entries
• Assist with annual audits and tax filings
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification preferred
• MUST HAVE 3+ years of fund accounting (private equity)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and property accounting
• Experience with fund accounting and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
