Job Details

This position will be responsible for upgrading the financial planning and analysis infrastructure to support organizational growth. The Senior Manager, FP&A will provide important business and financial decision support to key decision makers across multiple functions and projects. This individual will also establish best practices in financial planning, management reporting, and analytical support.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced hands-on leader who is focused and also nimble, balancing strategic goals with day-to-day operations. You are motivated by a dynamic, fast-paced environment and working in partnership with other community-minded team members. You will leverage your experience in FP&A together with your critical thinking skills, relationship building, and excellent communication skills to build a world-class FP&A foundation for a growing the organization.

Role And Responsibilities

* Provide guidance based on fundamentals of FP&A, coupled with insight and direction from business partners, and effectively share needle-moving discoveries to the Executive team. Drive finance discipline and rigor, fact-based decision-making, and financial visibility across the company.
* Manage all financial planning processes, management reporting, company budgeting and corporate financial analyses within a strategic framework that balances short-term goals with long-term planning.
* Collaborate with leaders on strategic and operational decisions, providing business and analytical support across the business with a committed, business partnering mindset.
* Develop and drive the Forecast, and Budget/Plan, and identify risks and opportunities for regular monthly deliverables.
* Develop new business performance reports, KPIs, and strategic analyses that inform financial performance but also provide critical insights into spending levers, resource allocation, and cashflow management.
* Act as FP&A liaison with the accounting team on close processes, including flux analyses, business transactions, and key upcoming or forward-looking business activities.
* Serves as the business lead for the administration and functional maintenance of the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial software systems.
* Review and assess the budgetary considerations of draft contracts and agreements and collaborate with budget owners on the management and financial impact of procuring key goods and services.

Experience, Skills

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA or CPA preferred, but not required.
* 10+ years demonstrated progressive responsible financial leadership roles, managing a P&L and key financial metrics,
* Experience in small and mid-size organization, particularly in companies transitioning to high growth stage.
* A solid track record of identifying and solving problems, implementing process improvements, and being hands-on and nimble.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a national Finance and FP&A team with experience in upgrading internal analytics, financial reporting and processes with solid operational experience and the ability to understand the business beyond finance with broad business acumen and problem-solving skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who effectively translates strategies into financial plans
* Experience with capturing, analyzing, and proactively delivering financial data
* Strong aptitude and proven ability to work and foster strong relationships across the business, collaborate with business leaders, functions, and project teams, and be a flexible team player.
