Job Details

What You’ll Own
  • Lead Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Forecasting
Drive company-wide forecasting cycles with discipline and speed. Translate complex business inputs into precise revenue, cost, and profit projections that inform every strategic move.
  • Executive-Level Financial Storytelling
Partner with the CEO and Board of Directors to communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Build high-impact reporting packages with insights that fuel big decisions.
  • Balance Sheet and P&L Expertise
Own the modeling and reconciliation of the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Ensure each forecast is grounded in sound accounting principles, timing accuracy, and clear business rationale.
  • SG&A and Functional Forecasting
Track and explain SG&A spending by function, separating timing impacts from permanent variances. Collaborate with department leads to ensure spend discipline and forecast alignment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Demand Planning, Sales, and Marketing to align operational drivers with financial forecasts. Ensure financial systems (Planful, ERP, Nielsen, etc.) reflect accurate and actionable data.
  • Risks & Opportunities Management
Own the R&O process with a sharp eye on market trends, internal levers, and evolving KPIs. Bring forward well-vetted insights and challenge assumptions where needed.
  • Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Leadership
Lead the AOP process from calendar development to final board presentation. Collaborate with the CFO and CEO on company guidance, ensuring complete alignment from the ground up.
  • Long-Range Strategic Modeling
Develop long-term P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts. Identify strategic levers to manage risk, maximize margins, and ensure financial health across multiple horizons.
  • Coach, Develop, Inspire
Mentor junior team members to elevate technical acumen, strategic thinking, and executive communication. Build a culture of accountability, clarity, and forward thinking.

What You Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred)
  • 8–10+ years of corporate-level experience in FP&A, forecasting, or financial strategy within manufacturing
  • Extensive experience working directly with CEOs, CFOs, and Board members
  • Deep knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasting
  • Strong background in corporate accounting
  • Advanced Excel and proficiency in forecasting platforms (e.g., Planful, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end forecasting cycles with precision and speed
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with executive presence
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and uncover root causes
