Job Details

Position will be located at a ClarkDietrich manufacturing location in Texas, St. Louis, Ohio, or Georgia
Bachelor's degree
7-10 Years experience

Essential Duties:
Research design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment, systems integration.
Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment using AutoCAD
Programming with Allen Bradley PLCs, Drives, HMIs
AMS and Siemens PLCs / HMIs would be a plus
Networking in IP and Modicon environments
Electrical distribution systems design
Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised processes
Designs, implements and tests/sources and cost justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods
Strong troubleshooting and analyses skills
Performs process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement and improved efficiency
Represents manufacturing on cross functional teams
Design and test automation equipment and processes
Program new automated components
Research an investigate automation suppliers, develop scopes of work, review quotes and recommend suppliers
Perform safety analysis for new processes
Robot programing and troubleshooting - Fanuc preferred

Requirements:
Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a 3‐6 month time span
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Process development experience
Quality orientation and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong team player
Ability to solve complex problems
Solid decision-making skills
Large Project management involving both technical and contractor management skills
Experience in either the roll forming industry or a related metal forming industry would be a plus
Ability to self‐direct in a field environment given the goals of the project
Experience with robotics - Fanuc
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform complex system tests
Automation safety analysis experience
Experience researching and recommending new processes and components
Rexroth servos experience

Physical Demands:
Lifting: Occasional, up to 75 lbs
Standing: 8 + hours per day
Walking: off and on, 4‐6 hours per day
Body positions; squatting, bending, extending arms, stooping, reaching overhead
Grasping: both hands up o 8 hours per day
