Responsibilities:
1. Mechanical Design:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative mechanical designs for manufacturing processes and products.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Conduct thorough analysis and testing to ensure designs meet quality, performance, and safety standards.
• Continuously improve and optimize existing designs to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in mechanical design.

2. Machine Design:

• Conceptualize, design, and develop custom machines and equipment for various manufacturing processes.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze requirements to ensure the proposed design meets functional and operational needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to source components and materials for machine fabrication.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of machines to ensure successful implementation.

3. Automation Design:

• Design and implement automated systems and processes to improve productivity and efficiency in manufacturing operations.
• Work closely with automation engineers to integrate mechanical components with electrical and control systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safety protocols for automated systems.
• Optimize automation designs to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks, with a proven track record of using these software for mechanical design.
• Extensive experience in mechanical design, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in machine design principles, including knowledge of mechanical components, materials, and fabrication techniques.
• Familiarity with automation design concepts and experience in designing automated systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex mechanical systems.
