Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering firm that delivers multidiscipline services across a wide range of project types. They work on the most challenging projects ranging from transportation hubs and aviation to composite manufacturing!

They are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team! The ideal candidate for this role would be someone with MEP/HVAC industry experience that can provide value to industrial clients based on extensive experience with them. This person also needs to have leadership experience as they will lead and direct mechanical designers and projects that have large mechanical content.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is required.

Exposure to Industrial Clients like Aerospace, Pulp and Paper, and Chemicals
Working knowledge of facility/building mechanical systems including HVAC and plumbing.
Familiarity with process system design and equipment including pumps, fans, heat exchangers, cooling towers, boilers, chillers, conveyors, and air handlers is also important.
Ability to identify, interpret and apply relevant codes and standards to engineering designs.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients, vendors, and constructors.
Proficient with MSOffice suite.
Experience with AutoCAD, CADWorx, or Revit, (a plus).
Knowledge of Caesar (preferred) or Autopipe pipe stress software, (desired).
Knowledge of PIPE-FLO (preferred).
Ability and willingness to travel to an off-site location and/or accept client site assignments when required.
