The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for new product development as well as sustaining existing products. The Mechanical Engineer should have 5+ years of Assembly, Machining, and Welding experience, plus a demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team with limited supervision.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop mechanical systems using Creo, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, develop design concepts, and create detailed engineering drawings.
3. Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to evaluate the performance and reliability of mechanical systems.
4. Manage and oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
5. Utilize Windchill to effectively manage and document design changes, revisions, and version control.
6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
7. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to optimize design solutions and enhance product efficiency.
8. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality components and materials, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
9. Perform hands-on testing and validation of mechanical systems, troubleshooting any issues and implementing necessary modifications.
10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and propose innovative solutions to enhance product performance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
3. Proficiency in using Creo for 3D modeling and design.
4. Strong knowledge of Windchill for managing product data and documentation.
5. Experience working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and understanding their requirements.
6. In-depth understanding of machining and welding processes, and their application in mechanical design.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex mechanical systems.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on precision and accuracy in design and documentation.
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
