Duties and Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and contribute to long-term technical solutions and strategies of the engineering department
• Own backend services related to the identity and e-commerce needs of the entire company
• Compliance, privacy, and security planning and implementation
• Build, deploy and monitor services in a cloud environment
• Build, maintain and improve automation tools
• Able to work effectively in ambiguous settings with minimal guidance
• Detail-oriented approach to designing APIs and maintaining services
• Ability to work gracefully under pressure
• Always be thinking of ways to improve performance and stability
• Thinking proactively towards capacity planning, expansion and system upgrades

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field required
• .Net framework, .Net core, Entity framework, SignalR, REST
• Database administration (MySQL or related)
• Backend/web development programming languages (C#, JavaScript, Typescript, PHP)
• Cloud Backend Development with AWS (RDS, EC2, Security policies and network)
• Windows server 2016, IIS, soft firewall
