We are seeking patent agents registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office with 5+ years of patent prosecution experience to join our firm. Our ideal candidates should have a Ph.D. or M.S. focused in (a) one or more of cellular biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, virology, or a related technical field; or (b) one or more of chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmacy, or equivalent discipline is required. A technical background in the biological sciences and/or pharmaceutical sciences is preferred. Candidates should have broad technical knowledge and must have experience conducting prior art searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses, analyzing patents and scientific papers to assist with patent preparation, prosecution and counseling is preferred. Excellent academic record and written and verbal communication skills including fluency in English is required. Graduate and undergraduate transcripts and a writing sample will be required.
