Senior Project Engineer (Multi-family)

Our firm has become one of the nation’s highest-performing private equity real estate investment firms specializing in the investment, development, and construction of world-class multi-family projects! Due to recent growth, we are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with experience in Residential Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Title: Senior Project Engineer
Location: Washington, DC
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + 10% BONUS + Project Bonuses
Requirements: Residential Construction / Civil Engineering / Type 1 High Rise

• Maintain project schedule and proactively manage the project budget by owning approvals and deliveries, controlling expenses, and reviewing submittal data
• Coordinate and manage subcontractor activity and requirements onsite, including deliveries, and compliance; serve as onsite quality manager for assigned trades
• Assist in the development of the site utilization plan and oversee owner-required documentation processes
• Adapt to change and facilitate updates and improvements by coordinating change proposal requests, evaluating, and improving processes, and ensuring changes are communicated effectively
• Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders and demonstrate your commitment to quality and to exceeding internal and external customer expectations
• Perform in accordance with all applicable company policies, and state/federal laws and assist with the coordination of various quality and risk control programs

What you need for this position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years’ experience in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years’ experience in Residential Construction Project Management
• Experience with Type 1 High Rises or similar
• OSHA 30-hour Certification; issued in the past three years, and current First Aid & CPR training certificate
• Extensive computer knowledge (Windows), and working knowledge of construction and project management software
