Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our team in the construction industry. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure that all aspects of the project are executed smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all phases of the construction project, from planning and design to construction and closeout.
• Ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with the project manager, architects, engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure that all aspects of the project are executed smoothly and efficiently.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other project-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including LEED certification requirements.
• Manage project risks and issues, and develop and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to keep them informed of project status and progress.
• Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the commercial construction industry.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other project-related documentation.
• Knowledge of LEED certification requirements and experience with sustainable construction practices preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools and technologies.
