We are looking for a Project Manager to further nurture our clients, execute on projects, develop a team, and develop new commercial business.

Manages a project management team and a book of construction accounts for commercial tenant improvement projects to ensure quality, schedule adherence, cost control and safety standards that meets or exceeds client satisfaction objectives. Responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting and control while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.


Support the Sr. Project Manager, with the construction process throughout all phases of the life-cycle of a project to include estimating, scheduling, subcontracting, construction administration and closeout of mid-size to large tenant improvement projects.

Initially working directly with the Sr. Project Manager on a jointly-managed book of work, and become sufficiently competent with Peacock Construction’s processes, operations, subcontractors and clients within 12-18 months to be given full profit-and-loss responsibility to independently sustain and grow that book of business.

In conjunction with Sr. Project Manager, develop strategies to optimize the construction marketplace to grow the book of work.

Market to current and prospective clients to fill pipeline with more construction projects to manage.

Manage construction projects in working with on-site superintendent on scheduling and quality control, coordinating sub trades, and engaging with architect and client to ensure quality, schedule, and budget.

Control budget and scope of multiple construction projects; negotiating with subcontractors and clients and maintaining strong working relationships with property owners, managers and tenants before, during and after construction.

Develop objectives and goals for project engineering staff

Prepare monthly invoices and manage accounts receivable for multiple construction projects.

Utilize and mentor project team members to the best of their abilities.

Access and provide feedback to improve work processes.

Final Review of project plans, requirements, and specifications. Review contract conditions between the client and company to ensure compliance with all contract terms.

Establish, monitor, communicate and maintain project schedules utilizing scheduling software.

Manage overall budget tracking, job cost review and reporting.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture and a minimum 2 years as a Project Manager or 3 years as an Assistant Project Manager or Sr. Project Engineer in commercial construction or a related-industry field such as Architecture, Property Management, Real Estate Acquisitions, Development or Brokerage, or Operations and Supply-chain Management.

Demonstrated expertise in Project Management disciplines (includes development and execution of Schedules, Submittals, Change Orders, Project Meeting Minutes and activity-specific Task Lists). Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials, costing, scheduling and estimating is essential. Expert understanding of how to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Salary / Compensation

Salary Range: $110k - $160k+ depending on experience

Discretionary bonus based on personal performance and overall profitability of the Company
