Senior Property Accountant

We are a an investment management great focused in Real Estate for student housing, retail, condominiums, hotel, offices, shopping centers, etc. We have nearly $10 billion in assets under management and 70 years of growth.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate industry. This is a REMOTE position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with some of the best professionals in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Property Accounting, with proficiency in Sage Intacct, Nexus, Domo, journal entries, financial statements, and Month-end-close.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions related to the company's property portfolio
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Manage the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the accounting team
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA designation preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Property Accounting
• Strong proficiency in Sage Intacct, Nexus, and Domo
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
