Requirements:
- Ensure seamless integration of electro-mechanical parts, PCBAs, and cables into production by reviewing and refining supplier processes.
- Conduct quality and process audits to verify suppliers align with manufacturing and quality requirements.
- Lead the development and approval of supplier quality plans.
- Review engineering drawings and specifications with suppliers to ensure proper understanding of requirements.
- Assist in the creation and review of PFMEAs, control plans, inspection plans, and test plans to maintain production quality.
- Collaborate with teams on cost reduction, new product introduction, and quality improvements.
- Utilize quality methodologies such as SPC, Six Sigma, Poka-yoke, and lean manufacturing to enhance processes.
- Participate in Product Readiness Reviews (PRR) and oversee final inspection (sell-off) activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and internal quality assessments.
- Analyze supplier performance and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Work independently on complex quality issues, applying sound judgment and company policies to develop solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on supplier quality engineering.
- Experience working with electro-mechanical parts, PCBAs, and cables in a quality engineering capacity.
- Strong knowledge of PPAP, APQP, SPC, AS9100 quality systems, and supplier audit methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvements.
