Job Details

Essential Duties of the Position:

Innovate, design, and develop components for microwave test and measurement equipment.
Work with CAD Designers to create detailed drawings and documentation for new designs.
Perform detailed testing and debugging of prototypes, supplier samples and bench-top breadboards.
Write patents and publish papers to increase the IP content of MMC
Provide technical support for troubleshooting and improving existing products.
Assist manufacturing with development of manufacturing process when required.
Provide applications support for marketing purposes.
Perform other design and development assignments as instructed.

MSEE or equivalent, PHD is preferred.
Five to seven years’ experience in passive microwave component design.
Must be able to use simulation software (Ansoft HFSS, CST) for electromagnetic simulation of packages, transitions, and interconnects, and circuit simulation software such as ADS.
Must have strong mechanical design skills and understanding of manufacturing processes for microwave components.
Occasional international travel may be required.
